In 1960 the Company adopted the newly formed 30th Signal Regiment, whose Commanding Officer was Past Prime Warden Colonel A.R. (Tubby) Marshall.

The connection has strengthened in the ensuing years – not least through the efforts of his son Past Priem Warden Lt. Col. Mike Marshall, and the connection with the Company led to the adoption by the Regiment of a white swan on a black background as their insignia.

The Wardens and Clerk attend the Annual ‘Cygnet’ Dinner held at their Headquarters in Bramcote, Warwickshire, and members of the Regiment spend time each year assisting at the Swan Sanctuary.
