Young & New Livery Evening – 27th February 2025

Back to News

We are delighted to invite you to our second Younger / Newer Livery evening on Thursday 27th February.

Your inclusion in the Younger / Newer Livery group means you have either joined the Company in the last decade, and / or are at the younger end of our age range. Our intention is for you to develop a greater understanding of the Company, how it works and for you to have the opportunity to meet your fellow Liverymen in an informal setting, in order to help you feel more at home with us.

We have secured an exclusive tour of The Charterhouse, an ancient set of buildings hiding in plain sight in Farringdon. Initially created as a burial site and monastery for victims of the Black Death in the 14th century, the premises became a grand Tudor mansion house, then a school and almshouse in 1611, which it remains to this day.

You are most welcome to bring a guest to this event. Our draft programme for the evening is shown below:

5.45pm The first part of the evening comprises a tour of The Charterhouse, where guests are asked to gather at 5.45pm. Numbers are limited, so sign up here!
6.00pm Tour commences
7.00pm Tour concludes

7.30pm Drinks reception and buffet. Those who can’t join the Charterhouse tour are most welcome to come straight to Dyers’ Hall
