Giving

Giving is an intrinsic part of what The Dyers’ Company does, with the Trust supporting a number of registered charities.

With a long history of philanthropy, The Dyers’ Company runs two charities, and among other activities, offers seed capital investments to young entrepreneurial businesses with some connection to colour. The bulk of the money raised by The Dyers’ Charitable Trust goes to education, with the Company supporting a number of schools in London and beyond.  From its earliest days The Dyers’ Company has provided almshouses and this continues: the Dyers’ Almshouses in Crawley, Sussex, provide twenty-eight modernised bungalow residences for elderly people of modest means in a beautiful setting.
